COMEDIAN

Leo Hodson is not your average comedian. Leo is a longtime fan of the wide variety of cast members on Saturday Night Live. Leo refers to his style as “sit down comedy” since he is currently for the time being, wheelchair bound. He thought he was wheelly clever and original when he coined that phrase. He wasn’t. There were eight others before him and they’re probably funnier. Leo loves him some wheelchair puns…Leo currently lives in Greensboro, North Carolina. You can see him rolling his wheels and testing out new material down on Elm St at the Idiot Box Comedy Club on any given Thursday. Leo has had the opportunity to open for some of the nations top talent including Sara Schaefer, Scott Moran, Tom Simmons, Sean Patton and many more.
His funny credentials include but are not limited to:

In his free time, Leo works on his physical recovery, gives motivational speeches, performs “sit down” comedy and enjoys spending time with his family and friends. Leo is the youngest of four siblings and has a miniature daschund named “Baby” that he holds dear to his heart. She has horrible breath…. She’s old.
“My main goal is to walk, but currently I am striving to operate a manual wheelchair, re-establish my independence and strengthen the connections to my muscles. My other goals include world peace, curing all cancers, getting on the cast of Saturday Night Live, earning an Academy Award and ultimately falling in love. I would like to thank God, my family, my friends and those that have supported me along this journey.”
MOTIVATIONAL SPEAKER
Leo has been given the opportunity to speak to thousands of teenagers all across the country. He shares his story of perseverance and optimism in hopes that he may positively affect the lives of those who hear his message.
